Description:
To grant wishes to children aged between 4-18 years of age who are critically, chronically, or terminally ill.
The wishes fall into 4 main categories:

  1. Celebrity Wishes (meeting famous people).
  2. Experience Wishes (Ride in a racing car, a helicopter or a balloon trip).
  3. Gift Wishes (a computer, mountain bike etc.).
  4. Travel Wishes (visiting theme parks or staying with relatives abroad).

Activities also include entertaining seriously ill children in hospital through parties, outings, play areas, starlight projects, and mobile entertainment trolleys called fun centres.
Starlight includes the children's parents, brothers and sisters under the age of eighteen in the wish, strengthening important family bonds.
