Description:
Registered Charity providing information and advice for people with high cholesterol.

Aims:
H·E·A·R·T UK, a national charity for patients and their families, combines the rich skills of research scientists, the caring, knowledgeable attention of doctors, nurses and dietitians, in order to support all those at risk of inherited high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.

Activities:
Provides a telephone advice line that is available to anybody who has questions about cholesterol. The lines are manned by specialist nurses and dietitians and are open from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
