National organisation providing information and support to parents, teachers and healthcare professionals in the fields of ADHD and related learning and behavioural difficulties.
Aims:
They provide people-friendly information and resources about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to anyone who needs assistance - parents, sufferers, teachers or health professionals. Whatever you're looking for in ADHD, they'll do their best to help.
Activities:
They support a multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment protocol, including education and behavioural interventions, with or without medication. They always keep an open mind and try to help families find their own most appropriate approach to intervention.
Local Groups:
ADDISS, in consultation with several leading ADHD support groups in the UK, is developing a programme of affiliation to ADDISS for individual support groups around the country.
Membership:
Everyone who subscribes to ADDISS is kept informed about all the latest events and news on ADHD.

- Details of forthcoming conferences and meetings rlated to ADHD.
