Description:
Group working for the integration of disabled museum visitors and staff.

Aims:

• To promote the rights of disabled people to fully participate, as visitors and staff, in museums, galleries and heritage sites.
• To achieve the full inclusion of disabled visitors and staff into museum services throughout the UK.
• To promote good practice in access and provision for disabled people among museum professionals.
• To facilitate liaison and collaboration between museums, galleries, heritage sites, disability organisations and others working to improve the inclusion of disabled people.

Activities:

• Organises events, seminars and workshops throughout the year to bring people together and encourage them to develop best practice.
• Providing a forum for museum, gallery and culture-sector professionals to share information and expertise in addressing the needs of disabled users.

Personal membership - £10.00/£15.00
