FREE Advice and information line for older people.

Aims:
To offer free advice and information for older people, their relatives, carers and friends, wherever the are based in the UK.

Activities:

  • Telephone advice service available throughout the UK run by trained advice workers, who help callers make informed decisions by discussing options with them.

General advice and information is available on the following:

  • Welfare and disability benefits.
  • Community care and residential care.
  • Housing options and adaptations.
  • Access to health and community services.
  • Equipment to assist independence.
  • Support for carers.
  • Agencies offering local practical help (Does not recommend Tradespeople).
  • Other information for older people.
