Description:
Charity formed to look after the interests of Blue Badge holders.

Aims:
To assist all disabled people, and their families, of all ages. To help them integrate more effectively with society through the European Union by co-operation, to overcome access and mobility problems.

Activities:

• Provides information about parking regulations, legislation directly affecting their users/members and related disability issues.
• Seeks to maintain the integrity and validity of the concessionary parking permit by the prevention of fraud and misuse of this valuable asset.
• Aims to keep holders of the Blue parking permit up to date - through a quarterly magazine - with legislation, information and ideas relating to parking badge matters in particular, and disability issues in general.
• Lobbies Parliament on such matters and is regularly invited by Government to participate in the consultation stage of Bills going through Parliament.
• A telephone helpline is available, plus assistance given on an individual basis in various avenues of expertise.
