National Centre for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Aims:
To help people who are experiencing stress reactions as a result of either being involved in, or being witness to, a major traumatic event.

Activities:
This is a specialist service for adults, young people, children and families. Established originally by the DoH, the service offers outpatient treatment for Post - Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other specific psychological reactions to trauma.

They offer a full multi-professional service including consultant psychiatrists, chartered clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and family therapists.
