Description:
Offers a consultancy service to organisations wishing to explore the accessibility of services.

Aims:
To work with various organisations to help them to achieve their goals in the production, management, and delivery of accessible information and services.

Activities:

• Consultancy services for organisations to look at the accessibility of service delivery, publications, websites and compliance with the DDA Act.
• Disability impact assessment for those operating within the Disability Equality Duty Legislation.
• Working with web designers and commissioners to develop compliance with the W3C web content accessibility guidelines.

Deliver a programme of courses including:

• Making materials accessible for disabled people.
• Working with website design to make sites more accessible for disabled people.
• Producing accessible publicity materials with everyday software such as Microsoft Word.
• Testing websites for accessibility and usability.
• Making the ideal and accessible PowerPoint presentation.
• Testing out your service for accessibility.
