Description:
Self help organisation encouraging greater independence through enhanced mobility.
Charity formed from a merger between The Disabled Drivers' Association and The Disabled Drivers' Motor Club.

Aims:

• To represent the interests of disabled people, and to assist and encourage them to achieve greater mobility.
• To promote independence through improved mobility for disabled people and those with mobility problems.

Activities:

• Liaise and actively campaign to advance the cause of disabled people.
• Negotiate and administer price concessions which make mobility more affordable for members.
• Maintains a full information service.
• Helping members to find solutions to their problems.
• Major supporter of the Mobility Roadshow, the premier event for disabled people looking for new developments and solutions to their mobility needs.
• Provides information on companies that can adapt vehicles.
• Provides advice for those who wish to return to driving.

Local Groups:
A network of local groups exist throughout the UK.

Membership:
Full (Disabled) - £14.00 per annum.
Associate Members - £14.00 per annum.
Joint Members (2 members same address) - £18.00 per annum.
Life Members (Single) - £280.00.
