Description:
Promotes full equality and participation of disabled people within society.

Aims:

• To serve as a national umbrella organisation made up of national, regional and local groups, and organisations run and controlled by disabled people.
• To unite the voice of disabled people in the UK and provide a forum for discussion and action by all disabled people on any issues affecting them.
• To encourage and support links between new and existing groups of disabled people.

Activities:

• Information centre which aims to collate and distribute information about the activities of member groups within the disability movement.
• Maintenance of standing committees on various topics.

Membership:

• Free to disabled individuals (unwaged).
• £15.00 to waged individuals.
• Groups should contact organisation for membership details.
