Registered as a charity in 1997, Myeloma UK is the only organisation exclusively dealing with myeloma and its related disorders in the UK.

Aims:
To provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive resource of reliable, up to date information on the diagnosis, treatment and management of myeloma, including guidelines to help understand the needs of patients.

Activities:

  • Myeloma UK is committed to working with healthcare professionals and to providing programmes and services that they hope you find useful in your day-to-day work.
  • healthcare professionals are the cornerstone of providing and delivering the best treatment and care to patients and their families, and are the people who are doing the vital research that will lead to better treatments, improved outcomes and hopefully one day, prevention and cure.
  • Myeloma UK is dedicated to improving the quality of life of myeloma patients while working toward prevention and a cure.
  • Myeloma UK provides a number of support, information and educational services to myeloma patients, their families/carers and healthcare professionals, as well as raising funds for vital research. These important services are overseen by a management board, which is guided by expert scientific and patient advisory boards.
