Volunteer-led charity providing housing with support or care for older people.

Aims:
To make older people's lives easier and more fulfilling by providing housing, support and companionship to older people in their local communities.

Activities:

• Supported sheltered housing in over 800 houses around the UK.
• Around 80 care homes which provide 24 hr. personal care for residents who are too frail to live in supported sheltered housing.
• Services for people with dementia are being developed by some Abbeyfield societies.
• Day care services.
