Daycare Trust is the national childcare campaign. They have been working since November 1986 to promote high quality affordable childcare for all. They know how important it is to make the right decision about childcare for your child and they hope that, through their information and services, they can help you find out more.
Aims:
- To promote high quality affordable childcare for all.
- Daycare Trust's objective is to secure access to high quality affordable childcare for all children in Great Britain where and when they and their parents want and need it, at a price their parents can afford.
- Daycare Trust provides a range of services and they are undertaking a number of projects for funders.
Activities:

Daycare Trust produce a wide range of publications, including the free booklet 'A guide to childcare for disabled children' and also a free guide for disabled parents about childcare.

They provide comprehensice information about childcare for parents; from parents trying to find out about their childcare options and the help they can get to pay for childcare, to employers seeking information about setting up a childcare scheme for their employees.

Their training service offers high quality training on a range of topics, from tax credits to involving parents in service development and delivery, which can be provided in house or through their programme.

They provide expert analysis evaluation and recommendations on childcare and related issues to a range of organisations and services.

As well as offering a range of membership packages to suit organisations of all sizes, enabling everyone to support the work of Daycare Trust and be kept up-to-date with the work they do and changes to childcare in the UK
