Mal De Debarquement Syndrome (MdDS) is an imbalance or rocking/swaying sensation often both "felt" and "seen" by the sufferer that occurs after exposure to motion (most commonly after a sea cruise or a flight). Although other forms of travel have been known to trigger it. The symptoms are with you constantly, they never leave, nor can they be alleviated by any anti-motion sickness drugs (eg. Stemetil, Serc etc.)
There is a private support group based in America which has been established for people worldwide who are interested in discussing Mal De Debarquement Syndrome. Topics of discussion include treatments, nutrition, coping with MdDS and other issues that affect MdDs and other issues that affect MdDS sufferers and their families.
Members of this group are not permitted to give out members names and addresses to third parties under any circumstances.
