Description:
The William Merritt Disabled Living Centre & Mobility Service provides impartial assessment, information and advice about equipment (assistive technology) and practical aspects of daily living including driving a car.

Their assessments are carried out by professional Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists who have good knowledge and understanding of all the equipment that they have available in their vast display. Additional equipment can be obtained for assessments as the need arises.
They do not sell any equipment, but can give you information about retailers and manufacturers.

Information can be sent by post.

Comprehensive assessments can be organised by making an appointment or you can drop in to one of their open days if you do not feel that you need a full assessment and just want a bit of advice.

They also offer Moving and Handling training courses.

The centre is fully accessible.
